Ni Qian Hachi Nian (Year 2008)Super GT!!

On the faithful day of 22nd June. I was able to attend the 1 in a year Super GT race. This is my 2nd time to get close to the race machines and the ever adorable and friendly Race Queens or the campaign girls as what the Japanese mostly call them. The year's race have seen improvements on the numbers of visitors either from foreign countries or locally. Arm with my Olympus, my quest to get the queens in my shoots was on as well as the race machines too. The weather was partly cloudy and partly sunny on the morning but it started to have some rain around 2~3pm but gladly god stop the rain. I was a bit tanned thought. The pit walk was the main event everyone was waiting for. Only those with pit pas was allow entry to the pit. This is where everything gets really interesting. You get to see the Race Queens up close. I manage to get goods shots of the RQs it was not an easy task as everybody is eager to get a view of the RQs. I have to squeeze in to the front just to get some nice shoots. It's worth every sweat because I want to bring the best pictures of the RQs to those who didn't make it to the race. I have too much photos to load here. If I load them all here, I think the server might explode. So please visit my Flickr site to view the full coverage of the race.

Patlabor....my childhood fantasy

1st of all before I start posting. I wanted to apologize to Dixon san for not posting in here for quite sometime already. I was stretched to the limits recently with my job, customers, production....bla...bla....bla...so..
"Dixon san, sumimasen!" Watashiwa mune kinmu sobou tame hari ichidan! My jap damn lousy....

OK, now for my new post. I wanted to post my Patlabor action figure by Yamaguchi, it's commonly known as Revoltech. It's a new generation of action figure with a newly design ball joint system that allows the figures to have awesome articulation compare to conventional action figures. This has allow collectors to have more awesome posing of the figures. This Revoltech is very cool and the price is not expensive (below RM100). The details on the action figure itself is quite promising and with very little over paint. This is the best entry action figure for those who are into action figure collection.

I just got mine last 2 weeks. Didn't thought that I would fall into collecting action figures...Hahaha but It's worth every cent.

Star Drift: Seremban Round Pictures

Last week, Drift.com.my organized a Star Drift event in Seremban. I was there to capture the drifting action. Drifting originated from Japan. The father of drifting is the very well known Keiichi Tsuchiya. He is the guy that made drifting so famous world wide. Did you know that the history of drifting dated back as far as 1977! Today drifting has evolved into a very competitive sport. They even have a formal competition known as D1 Gran Prix where top drivers compete against each other to see who has the best drifting techniques. A few famous D1 drivers would be Nomura Ken, Nobuteru Taniguchi, Kazuhiro Tanaka, Masao Suenaga, Kazama Takayuki, Yuichi Imamura, Takahiro Ueno, Nobushige Kumakubo ....etc...

New DSLR in the house.......

New camera in the house,yo......Hehehehe. This is the Olympus E-510. Can consider is the new model from Olympus. It's function is much more than my Pentax but I'm not used to this new girl maybe it's still new to me. I think you guys and girls can surf the Olympus site to find more information about this DSLR. This camera is lighter than my Pentax and it's smaller. I some how felt weird when I hold it maybe my hand big? Hehehe.....Still playing around with it. Whole kit cost Rm3044 with 2 lens kit. One is 40~150MM lens, another is a 18~42MM lens. 2 battery packs and uses a CF card instead of SD card and this is not good as my personal favorite is using SD card. The lens size is 58MM so my previous 52MM filters can't be used on this girl.....sad thing...I need to get everything again....Not in love with it yet cause it's still a new girl to me....

Cookies from Japan~~~~

Last week, I got a gift from 1 of my friend in Japan. Hehehe~~it was a boxes of cookies. They were nicely packed and I didn't intended to eat them but 1 box was open because my naughty little brother always very "wai sek" and stole my cookies...Hahaha but I'm not mad at him. I just kept these cookies until I feel like eating them...Hahaha. Nice packing right? The Henry Carpenter cookies are delicious and they are like the GUCCI of the biscuits world...Hahahaha~~Enjoy the pictures as I've did some editing job to it.
